Philanthropy Massachusetts helps donors connect, learn, and explore collective action. Serving as a Network catalyst is one of our strategic goals. We invite you to join groups with shared interests and become involved in our dynamic and evolving communities.

Funder Networks

Behavioral Health Funders Network

The Behavioral Health Funders Network is a state-wide network of funders working in the area of behavioral and mental health and wellness.

Cape Cod & Islands Funders Network

A Network to deepen collective impact as funders, especially related to identifying innovative solutions to key needs on the Cape, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. 

Central MA Funders Network

This is a group for representatives of grantmaking institutions based in Worcester County or funding in the County.

CFO & Finance Staff Network

A quarterly roundtable focused on philanthropy and finance for foundation CFOs, Finance Directors, and other financial services staff.

Corporate Funders

Open to staff who are part of a corporation’s giving program, social responsibility initiative, citizenship or community relations department.

Data Collective

A collaborative space for funders to explore, understand, and share data and data practices as it pertains to philanthropy and the nonprofit sector with an eye to equity, transparency, and best practices.

Essex County Funders Group

A group of individual and institutional funders convened by the Essex County Community Foundation, The Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation, and Philanthropy MA.

Funders that Fundraise

A Network for funders that responds to the uniqueness, opportunities, and challenges faced by funders that fundraise.

Grantmakers of Color

A peer and support network of people of color who work in philanthropy that provides opportunities to learn from those in the field and grow professionally.

MA Arts Funders Network

A meeting space for funders from across the state investing in arts and culture within the Commonwealth, the network explores specific topics of relevance, elevates examples of interesting work, and participates in site visits.

MA Jewish Funders Collective

A group of funders for whom their Jewish identity informs their giving. 

MA Legal Aid Funders Network

A collaborative learning space for funders around legal strategies and civil legal aid, connected to addressing economic and racial inequities.

Non-Family Member Family Foundation CEOs

A learning community for non-family member CEOs and Executive Directors of Family Foundations that meets 4-6 times a year to address specific needs they face in their role.

Program Staff Learning Network

This Network is for mid to senior level program staff who have 10 years of professional experience and are currently situated at a foundation or grantmaking program.

Western MA Funders Network

An inclusive network for grantmakers funding in, or based in, the four counties of Western Massachusetts: Berkshire, Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin.

Women & Girls Funders Network

This network is comprised of women’s funds and women, girls and gender equity focused giving circles across Massachusetts AND those foundations and grantmaking institutions with a broader mission that includes a women, girls, and gender equity stream.

A collaborative of 15 Community Foundations that strengthen the missions, programs and capacities of Massachusetts.

MA Early Childhood Funder Collaborative

The MA ECFC ensures that all young children in Massachusetts have the opportunities and supports they need to thrive.

Small Business Learning Collaborative

A funder learning collaborative to propel the ecosystem for small businesses owned by people of color by connecting funders throughout the state with a shared interest.

Summer Fund

The Summer Fund is a donor collaborative dedicated to building, strengthening, and sustaining a network of high-quality summer camps and enrichment programs for underserved youth in Greater Boston.
